I have announced unto thee new things from this time, even hidden things, which thou hast not known. - [48:7](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/neviim/ISA.48.7/) — עַתָּה נִבְרְאוּ וְלֹא מֵאָז וְלִפְנֵי־יוֹם וְלֹא שְׁמַעְתָּם פֶּן־תֹּאמַר הִנֵּה יְדַעְתִּֽין׃ — They are created now, and not from of old, and before this day thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say: 'Behold, I knew them.' - [48:8](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/neviim/ISA.48.8/) — גַּם לֹֽא־שָׁמַעְתָּ גַּם לֹא יָדַעְתָּ גַּם מֵאָז לֹא־פִתְּחָה אָזְנֶךָ כִּי יָדַעְתִּי בָּגוֹד תִּבְגּוֹד וּפֹשֵׁעַ מִבֶּטֶן קֹרָא לָֽךְ׃ — Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from of old thine ear was not opened; for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb. - [48:9](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/neviim/ISA.48.9/) — לְמַעַן שְׁמִי אַאֲרִיךְ אַפִּי וּתְהִלָּתִי אֶחֱטָם־לָךְ לְבִלְתִּי הַכְרִיתֶֽךָ׃ — For My name's sake will I defer Mine anger, and for My praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. - [48:10](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/neviim/ISA.48.10/) — הִנֵּה צְרַפְתִּיךָ וְלֹא בְכָסֶף בְּחַרְתִּיךָ בְּכוּר עֹֽנִי׃ — Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have tried thee in the furnace of affliction. - [48:11](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/neviim/ISA.48.11/) — לְמַעֲנִי לְמַעֲנִי אֶעֱשֶׂה כִּי אֵיךְ יֵחָל וּכְבוֹדִי לְאַחֵר לֹֽא־אֶתֵּֽן׃ס — For Mine own sake, for Mine own sake, will I do it; for how should it be profaned?
