it cannot explain a whole story. - [10](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/10/) — An impression copies how a famous person talks and moves; comedians in many countries have mocked leaders for hundreds of years. - [11](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/11/) — Joking about what someone does is different from joking about their body or looks, which says nothing about their work and hurts people who look the same. - [12](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/12/) — Joking about people with more power than you is called punching up. - [13](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/13/) — A short clip cut out of a long video can change what it seems to show; this is called taking it out of context. - [14](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/14/) — Political cartoons make a point about the news with drawings; a caricature stretches someone's features, and leaders are often drawn as animals. - [15](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/15/) — A fake quote is words someone never said made to look real; jokes from satire accounts can become lies once shared without their label. - [16](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/16/) — A deepfake is a fake video or voice made by a computer to look real; odd details and checking a trusted news site help you spot one. - [17](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/17/) — When a clip goes viral, news shows sometimes chase it, which can push more important stories off the screen. - [18](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/18/) — Politicians use jokes too, and many have social media teams who make memes and videos for them. - [19](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/19/) — Memes and comedy can spark curiosity, but you need to know the real story to understand the joke. - [20](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/13-memes-clips-and-jokes-about-politicians/20/) — People disagree whether memes get young people interested in politics or squash big topics into jokes without facts. - ← previous: [Adverts, slogans and polls](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/12-adverts-slogans-and-polls/) - next →: [Dad shouting at the TV: big feelings about politics](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/14-dad-shouting-at-the-tv-big-feelings-about-politics/) - ↑ back to [Politics](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/school/politics/)
