These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.' - [19:7](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.7/) — וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה וַיִּקְרָא לְזִקְנֵי הָעָם וַיָּשֶׂם לִפְנֵיהֶם אֵת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּהוּ יְהוָֽה׃ — And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which the LORD commanded him. - [19:8](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.8/) — וַיַּעֲנוּ כָל־הָעָם יַחְדָּו וַיֹּאמְרוּ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר יְהוָה נַעֲשֶׂה וַיָּשֶׁב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הָעָם אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃ — And all the people answered together, and said: 'All that the LORD hath spoken we will do.' And Moses reported the words of the people unto the LORD. - [19:9](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.9/) — וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי בָּא אֵלֶיךָ בְּעַב הֶֽעָנָן בַּעֲבוּר יִשְׁמַע הָעָם בְּדַבְּרִי עִמָּךְ וְגַם־בְּךָ יַאֲמִינוּ לְעוֹלָם וַיַּגֵּד מֹשֶׁה אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הָעָם אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃ — And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and may also believe thee for ever.' And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. - [19:10](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.10/) — וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵךְ אֶל־הָעָם וְקִדַּשְׁתָּם הַיּוֹם וּמָחָר וְכִבְּסוּ שִׂמְלֹתָֽם׃ — And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments, - [19:11](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.11/) — וְהָיוּ נְכֹנִים לַיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי כִּי ׀ בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי יֵרֵד יְהוָה לְעֵינֵי כָל־הָעָם עַל־הַר סִינָֽי׃ — and be ready against the third day; for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. - [19:12](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.12/) — וְהִגְבַּלְתָּ אֶת־הָעָם סָבִיב לֵאמֹר הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם עֲלוֹת בָּהָר וּנְגֹעַ בְּקָצֵהוּ כָּל־הַנֹּגֵעַ בָּהָר מוֹת יוּמָֽת׃ — And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying: Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it; whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death; - [19:13](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.13/) — לֹא־תִגַּע בּוֹ יָד כִּֽי־סָקוֹל יִסָּקֵל אוֹ־יָרֹה יִיָּרֶה אִם־בְּהֵמָה אִם־אִישׁ לֹא יִחְיֶה בִּמְשֹׁךְ הַיֹּבֵל הֵמָּה יַעֲלוּ בָהָֽר׃ — no hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live; when the ram's horn soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.' - [19:14](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.14/) — וַיֵּרֶד מֹשֶׁה מִן־הָהָר אֶל־הָעָם וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֶת־הָעָם וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ שִׂמְלֹתָֽם׃ — And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their garments. - [19:15](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.15/) — וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־הָעָם הֱיוּ נְכֹנִים לִשְׁלֹשֶׁת יָמִים אַֽל־תִּגְּשׁוּ אֶל־אִשָּֽׁה׃ — And he said unto the people: 'Be ready against the third day; come not near a woman.' - [19:16](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.16/) — וַיְהִי בַיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי בִּֽהְיֹת הַבֹּקֶר וַיְהִי קֹלֹת וּבְרָקִים וְעָנָן כָּבֵד עַל־הָהָר וְקֹל שֹׁפָר חָזָק מְאֹד וַיֶּחֱרַד כָּל־הָעָם אֲשֶׁר בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ — And it came to pass on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of a horn exceeding loud; and all the people that were in the camp trembled. - [19:17](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.17/) — וַיּוֹצֵא מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הָעָם לִקְרַאת הָֽאֱלֹהִים מִן־הַֽמַּחֲנֶה וַיִּֽתְיַצְּבוּ בְּתַחְתִּית הָהָֽר׃ — And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. - [19:18](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.18/) — וְהַר סִינַי עָשַׁן כֻּלּוֹ מִפְּנֵי אֲשֶׁר יָרַד עָלָיו יְהוָה בָּאֵשׁ וַיַּעַל עֲשָׁנוֹ כְּעֶשֶׁן הַכִּבְשָׁן וַיֶּחֱרַד כָּל־הָהָר מְאֹֽד׃ — Now mount Sinai was altogether on smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. - [19:19](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.19/) — וַיְהִי קוֹל הַשּׁוֹפָר הוֹלֵךְ וְחָזֵק מְאֹד מֹשֶׁה יְדַבֵּר וְהָאֱלֹהִים יַעֲנֶנּוּ בְקֽוֹל׃ — And when the voice of the horn waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice. - [19:20](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.20/) — וַיֵּרֶד יְהוָה עַל־הַר סִינַי אֶל־רֹאשׁ הָהָר וַיִּקְרָא יְהוָה לְמֹשֶׁה אֶל־רֹאשׁ הָהָר וַיַּעַל מֹשֶֽׁה׃ — And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, to the top of the mount; and the LORD called Moses to the top of the mount; and Moses went up. - [19:21](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.21/) — וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה רֵד הָעֵד בָּעָם פֶּן־יֶהֶרְסוּ אֶל־יְהוָה לִרְאוֹת וְנָפַל מִמֶּנּוּ רָֽב׃ — And the LORD said unto Moses: 'Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish. - [19:22](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.22/) — וְגַם הַכֹּהֲנִים הַנִּגָּשִׁים אֶל־יְהוָה יִתְקַדָּשׁוּ פֶּן־יִפְרֹץ בָּהֶם יְהוָֽה׃ — And let the priests also, that come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.' - [19:23](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.23/) — וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־יְהוָה לֹא־יוּכַל הָעָם לַעֲלֹת אֶל־הַר סִינָי כִּֽי־אַתָּה הַעֵדֹתָה בָּנוּ לֵאמֹר הַגְבֵּל אֶת־הָהָר וְקִדַּשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ — And Moses said unto the LORD: 'The people cannot come up to mount Sinai; for thou didst charge us, saying: Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.' - [19:24](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/corpora/torah/EXO.19.24/) — וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יְהוָה לֶךְ־רֵד וְעָלִיתָ אַתָּה וְאַהֲרֹן עִמָּךְ וְהַכֹּהֲנִים וְהָעָם אַל־יֶֽהֶרְסוּ לַעֲלֹת אֶל־יְהוָה פֶּן־יִפְרָץ־בָּֽם׃ — And the LORD said unto him: 'Go, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee;
