### sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Tanakh it means to adorn or dress with fine things, not part of a ship. Interpretation: Job's call to deck oneself with glory is read as God challenging Job to show if he has such power. Ezekiel's picture shows God adorning Jerusalem. In the primary lessons: maths: a set of cards (52 in a usual deck, in 4 suits of 13), or an area to build or paint (area = length × width); dealing equally means divide; chance of drawing a card; everyday life: card games, the top deck of a bus, sitting on the deck in summer; stories: sailors on the deck of a ship
