Pattern: devote something TO something (devote time to reading), not «devote for». Devoted is also an adjective meaning very loving and loyal (a devoted friend). Noun: devotion. Do not mix up with «divide» or «vote». In maths problems «devotes 20 minutes a day» is a rate you multiply by the number of days.
