### sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In Torah it describes God's bright, flashing sword, a picture of justice about to be carried out. The prophets and Job use it for the gleam of weapons such as spears, arrow-points and javelins. In Habakkuk the glittering spear is God's own, whose light makes the sun and moon stand still. In the primary lessons: In art and craft, glitter is glued on cards; it is messy and most is plastic, so many schools now use eco glitter. In science, things glitter because they reflect light from many small surfaces. In stories, gold, ice or stars glitter. Phrases: «glitter glue», «covered in glitter», «All that glitters is not gold» (things that look good may not be good).
