Interpretation: The tradition reads the "perpetual sleep" as death, the end of Babylon's rulers. In the primary lessons: In school maths: a clock time in a story; hours of sleep from bedtime to wake time. In everyday life: waking up for school, an alarm clock that wakes you, being quiet so as not to wake the baby. In stories: a hero who wakes in a strange place. Phrases: «wake up», «wake-up call», «wide awake».
