«contemporaneously» in Mova's school dictionary: **At the same time as something else happened, or during…** — its meaning for a pupil, its sense in the lessons and examples.

### part of speech

adverb (contemporaneously — formal)

### meaning for a pupil

### sense in the lessons

In history and law, a note written contemporaneously is written at the time of the events, which makes it more reliable evidence than one written later. It tells the reader two things happened in the same period. Everyday English says «at the same time».
