### note

The thing counted, measured in dollars. «spent» takes away, «earned», «saved», «got» add. Trap: «how much money» asks for dollars, not a number of things bought. «Money» is uncountable: «much money», «a lot of money», not «many moneys». Slang: a buck is a dollar, a quid is a pound, a fiver is 5, a tenner is 10. «expenditure» means money spent, «funds» means money you have. Safety: never give money or card numbers to strangers online.
