### note

Plural rays. A ray has one endpoint; a line segment has two; a line has none and goes on both ways. A ray is named by its endpoint first: ray AB starts at A. Do not mix with «Ray», a boy's name, or with «rain». Stingrays have a sharp barb in the tail that can hurt badly.
