**The whole BDB entry:** n.\[m.\] deriv. \& meaning dub.; only Ez 23:24 וּבָאוּ עָלַיִךְ הֹצֶן רֶכֶב וְגַלְגַּל; txt. prob. in error: 𝔊 מִצָּפוֹן so Co (cf. 26:7); 𝔖 𝔗 with arms; Hi הָצֵן, Inf. Hiph. of √ צנן, with rattling; Ew חֹצֶן (so Codd.) with shoulder as place of carrying weapon; Bö Sm הֲמוֹן multitude; DlBaer’s Ezech. xi. gains like sense without emend. by comparing Assyrian êṣin collect, gather, Flood Tabl.ii, 25, ff., but this very dubious.
