LgBN 202)—abs. ח׳ Is 21:2 Dn 8:5, 8; cstr. חָזוּת Is 29:11; sf. חָזוּתְכֶם Is 28:18;— vision, oracle of a prophet חָזוּת קָשָׁה הֻגַּד־לִי Is 21:2 a hard vision is declared to me; וַתְּהִי לָכֶם חָזוּת הַכֹּל כְּדִבְרֵי הַסֵּפֶר הֶחָתוּם Is 29:11 the vision (prophecy) of the whole is become to you as the words of a sealed writing; חָזוּתְכֶם אֶת־שְׁאוֹל לֹא תָקוּם Is 28:18 your agreement with Sheol will not stand, so Thes MV De Che Di al. after Vrss, but Ew§ 156 e renders oracle, and Siegf. Hellseherei, v. חֹזֶה 2. conspicuousness in appearance: קֶרֶן הָזוּת a conspicuous horn Dn 8:5 = the great horn v 8, 21; so חָזוּת אַרְבַּע Dn 8:8, but אֲחֵרוֹת others, as 𝔊 Gr Bev.
