BuhlGeogr. 104 DrHast.DB iii. 892 f.): almost always disting. from הָהָר and הַנֶּגֶב, sometimes from הָעֲרָבָה, in Dt 1:7; Jos 9:1 (RD) also from חוֹף הַיָּם, cf. Jos 10:40; 12:8 (both RD), Ju 1:9 (perhaps RD, cf.
