# The English page: 13 active treebanks instead of 10 (English, documentation)

**Gist.** The main English page now counts 13 active treebanks: CHILDES, CTeTex and LittlePrince, released in 2.17–2.18, were added.

**Level.** English, documentation. Does not affect annotation.

**Before (2.18).** `2.18:docs/_en/index.md:50`: «There are [ten](https://universaldependencies.org/treebanks/en-comparison.html) active English UD treebanks».

**Now (snapshot 24.09.2026).** `docs/_en/index.md:50–61`: «thirteen»; English-CHILDES, English-CTeTex, English-LittlePrince were added to the list.

**Evidence.** `diff` of the two files; PR #1297 «Update number and list of active English UD treebanks» (closed 01.09.2026).

**What it means for English annotation.** Nothing. The 2.18 release has 14 English folders: Pronouns is added to the 13 active ones (see SOURCES.md). Treebank cards are in `treebanks/en/`.
