# Words written alike, meaning different things

Each sense is a concept with its code — the language, the word, the sense (`en:fly:insect`, `en:fly:move`). Its words are the word itself and the words around it that tell the sense: `global::sense_of("en", "fly", text)` picks the sense whose cues the text has most of (on a tie, the first written here — the commoner one). The small one met this in its knowledge: «people fly» was read as the insect.
