## Papers

1. **[Synchronous Grammars and Transducers: Good News and Bad News](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/docs/papers/shieber-2007-synchronous-grammars-transducers-good-news/)** *(2007)* This is a short invited paper. The good news is that a 2004 result connects the two through the bimorphism, so that the formalisms can be compared directly. The paper then gives two applications…
2. **[The LinGO Redwoods Treebank: Motivation and Preliminary Applications](https://md.mova.elamur.ai/free/en/docs/papers/bank-2002-oepen-lingo-redwoods-treebank-motivation-preliminary/)** *(2002)* The paper proposes a treebank that stores full HPSG analyses from a broad-coverage grammar (the LinGO English Resource Grammar) instead of one fixed tree format, so that users can extract the representation they need.
